Justice and Correctional Services - Primary Youth Worker

The primary youth worker is responsible for working with and intervening with students in the alternate suspension program, creating a structured environment to support them during their suspension period. This role involves conducting individual and group interventions, running workshops, supporting schoolwork, and collaborating with schools, parents, and community partners.

Candidates must possess a college diploma in social work, criminology, education, or a related field, along with three to five years of relevant experience, specifically working with at-Risk youth populations. Fluency in verbal cree is required, along with fluency in english, and knowledge of cree culture, customs, and history is essential.
