The teaching assistant role involves a combination of duties including correcting assignments, attending lectures (In class and/Or online), and consulting with individual students both in person and online. Specific allocation of hours for research, preparation, contact with students, grading, proctoring, and training must be negotiated with the supervising professor before work commences.
Applicants must possess a bachelor of arts (B.a.) degree in communication or a related discipline to be considered for this position. Duties are performed in accordance with article 4.3.1 of the collective agreement.
