The role involves providing direct care and support to emotionally and behaviorally challenged youth within a trauma-Informed, safe, and secure environment in provincial campus based care (Pcbc) centres. Key duties include assessing youth needs, collaborating on care plans with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining physical capacity to respond to crises using approved behavioral management techniques.
Candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or diploma in child and youth care or a related human service profession, along with a valid class 5 driver's license. Preferred qualifications include experience in therapeutic campus-Based care, training in crisis response (Like tci), and experience working with complex youth and indigenous populations.
