The role involves providing direct care and support to emotionally and behaviorally challenged youth aged 12-17 within a trauma-Informed environment, ensuring a safe and secure setting consistent with center philosophy. Key duties include assessing youth needs, implementing direct program delivery, collaborating on care plans, and maintaining physical capacity to respond to crises using approved behavioral management techniques.
Minimum qualifications require a bachelor’s degree or diploma in child and youth care or a related human service profession, along with a valid class 5 driver's license. Preferred qualifications include experience in therapeutic campus-Based care, training in tci/First aid/Cpr, and experience working with complex youth and indigenous populations.
