The speech-Language pathologist will provide assessment, intervention, and treatment planning for clients primarily diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders or other developmental disabilities. This involves employing a comprehensive range of speech pathology skills to maintain or augment oral motor or communicative functions while working within an interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must be graduates of a recognized school of speech language pathology and possess active membership or eligibility with the cshbc regulatory body, along with legal authorization to work in canada. New graduates are welcome, as mentorship is provided, but a passion for the profession and commitment to ongoing professional development are essential.
