This role involves providing leadership to the childcare team, supervising and guiding staff in daily activities, and overseeing the daily operation of the child care site. The supervisor must also demonstrate in-Depth knowledge of the ministry of education’s pedagogy and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Candidates must possess a diploma or degree in early childhood education and have a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a licensed child care setting. Required certifications include being a registered early childhood educator in good standing, standard first aid and cpr-C, and a recent vulnerable sector check.
