School Age Educator - W.H. Day

The educator will provide personal care to children, including toileting, first aid, and medication administration, while actively engaging with and ensuring the safety of groups of up to 15 children independently. Responsibilities also include planning and implementing play-Based learning according to the ymca curriculum and maintaining positive communication with families and staff.

Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old and possess current standard first aid and cpr (Level c) certification, or obtain it within 90 days, along with a vulnerable sector check. Preferred candidates will be a registered early childhood educator or actively enrolled in or hold a diploma/Degree in related fields like early childhood education or child & youth work.
