Child Care Supply Assistant - Req. 863

This role involves providing direct personal care to children, including toileting, first aid, and medication administration, while actively ensuring their supervision and safety in a group setting of up to 15 children. The assistant must also plan and implement play-Based learning according to the ymca curriculum and maintain positive communication with families and staff.

Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years old and possess or be willing to obtain standard first aid and cpr (Level c) certification within 90 days, along with a satisfactory vulnerable sector check and up-To-Date immunizations. Required availability includes a minimum of two days per week with specific shift patterns, and the role demands a passion for working with children and the physical ability to lift up to 20 kg and work outdoors in all weather.
