Child Care Supply Assistant - Req. 1050

Responsibilities include providing personal care to children, such as toileting, first aid, and medication administration, while actively engaging them and ensuring their safety in groups of up to 15 children independently. The assistant must also plan and implement play-Based learning according to the ymca curriculum and maintain professional communication with families and staff.

Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old and possess or be willing to complete standard first aid and cpr (Level c) certification within 90 days, along with passing a vulnerable sector check and having up-To-Date immunizations. Required availability includes specific minimum scheduling patterns, and candidates need a passion for working with children, strong communication skills, and the physical ability to lift up to 20 kg and work outdoors in all weather.
