The principal will fulfill the duties outlined in section 28 of the nb education act and promote optimum learning for all students through instructional leadership and maintaining a positive school climate. Responsibilities also include monitoring student progress, strategic planning, and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Candidates must possess a valid new brunswick principal’s certificate or interim principal’s certificate, along with a valid new brunswick teacher’s certificate, preferably certificate vi. Essential qualifications also require having or having had a continuing contract in new brunswick and a minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience in the public school system, with written and spoken competence in english.
