Student respiratory therapists will work alongside registered respiratory therapists providing complex and chronic respiratory services within the community, observing patient respiratory management and shadowing clinicians. Responsibilities also include learning about respiratory equipment, setup, patient assessment, education, and administrative processes involved in care delivery.
Applicants must be students enrolled in a recognized canadian respiratory therapy program and currently completing their second year of study. Qualified candidates must also demonstrate enthusiasm for exceptional patient care, be team-Focused, customer service driven, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
