School-Based Concurrent Counsellor

Counsellors will apply various treatment modalities based on youth needs, including completing mental health and substance use assessments and creating and implementing treatment plans. Responsibilities also involve working in consultation with school-Based teams and providing education and engaging in community planning activities.

Preferred candidates will have a master's-Level degree in a relevant discipline, though those with a bachelor's degree and over three years of mental health or substance misuse counselling experience will be considered. Success requires excellent communication skills, organization, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and the capacity to work independently under pressure.
