Behaviour interventionists will implement recommended behaviour management strategies and positive behaviour support plans (Pbsps) through in-Home consultation, providing education and support to families. They will work directly with children and youth to improve daily functioning across various life skills while collaborating with social workers and service providers.
Candidates should ideally possess a diploma or certificate in behaviour intervention or a related field, along with demonstrated knowledge of strengths-Based family systems and attachment-Based support. Success requires familiarity with child development, neurodiversity, asd, fasd, ihcan assessments, and the ability to build trusting relationships with families.
