Community support workers provide individualized behavior intervention and support services for adults with diversabilities. They also work with family members to strengthen the family unit and assist clients in developing social and life skills.
Applicants should have a diploma or certificate in behavior intervention or relevant social services disciplines, along with experience supporting individuals with complex developmental behavioral conditions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks independently, are essential.
