Family Engagement Worker - 12 Month Term - Chilliwack - 1835

The family engagement worker supports social work planning by gathering information, educating families on child and family services, and attending collaborative meetings to develop service agreements. They also actively engage families to implement safety goals, provide hands-On parent education, and facilitate visits between children in care and their families.

Candidates must possess a two-Year diploma in human services or equivalent experience, along with knowledge of indigenous and stó:Lō cultural practices and the generational impacts of colonization. Required abilities include effective interpersonal and communication skills, the capacity to build trusting relationships, and proficiency in solution-Focused, strengths-Based methodologies.
