The camp counsellor will lead groups of youth aged six to 14 through fun, educational, safe, and inclusive experiences at bc spca summer day camps, which may be held in-Person or virtually. Key duties include ensuring camper safety, administering first aid when necessary, fostering an inclusive environment, and building positive relationships with participants.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate enthusiasm, patience, and a passion for making a difference, along with proven experience working both independently and in a team. Applicants must be willing to complete a criminal record check with a vulnerable sector check and have the physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and participate in outdoor activities.
