The nutrition specialist is responsible for planning, preparing, and coordinating nutritious, safe, and culturally relevant meals and snacks for children and staff, ensuring compliance with health regulations and program guidelines. This role also involves supporting wellness programming and collaborating with staff and families to promote healthy eating habits.
Required qualifications include early childhood educator (Ece) level i, ii, or iii certification (Or equivalent) and a valid food safe certification. Preferred qualifications include training in nutrition or culinary arts, and experience in childcare food service settings.
