The successful candidate will provide excellence in transfusion medicine across the unity health toronto network, covering transfusion medicine service, patient blood management via the ontrac program, therapeutic apheresis, and the tissue bank. Additionally, the role requires contributing to the academic mission through collaborative research, undergraduate teaching, and residency training programs.
Applicants must be eligible for medical licensure in ontario and hold postgraduate qualifications in transfusion medicine, with eligibility for an academic appointment at the university of toronto at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor. Previous experience in therapeutic apheresis and fellowship training or demonstrated subspecialty expertise are favored.
