Candidates must have 1-3 years of experience working or volunteering with children and familiarity with the child care early years act and licensing standards. Required certifications include a clear police vulnerable sector check, standard first aid and cpr level c, and updated immunization records, alongside being a registered early childhood educator or actively pursuing the diploma.
