• Religion</strong></p><p>Sacred Heart Catholic School (Williams Lake) enrolls approximately 110 students from Kindergarten to Grade Seven. For the 2026 - 2027 school year, we are seeking a skilled, qualified candidate to join our team as a 0.5 FTE teacher with the subject assignment area of Religion. This position commences September 1, 2026 and concludes June 30, 2027. </p><p>Preference will be given to candidates who possess: </p><ul><li>active membership in a Catholic parish </li><li>commitment to excellence in Catholic education </li><li>Aptitude to differentiate instruction based on student needs </li><li>Knowledge of current instructional practices and the renewed curriculum </li><li>Experience using innovative teaching methods in both primary and intermediate classrooms, that may include remote learning experiences </li><li>Well-versed in the ability to integrate Catholic culture in the classroom </li><li>Demonstrated ability to use a variety of current instructional strategies and assessment methods; </li><li>Excellent and proven classroom management skills </li><li>Exceptional communication strategies with students, staff, and parents. </li><li>a genuine sense of joy in teaching and learning </li><li>a valid TRB certification </li><li>the desire to provide leadership of extracurricular activities </li></ul>Interested INTERNAL candidates should submit a cover letter noting their experience, an updated Pastoral Reference Form and resume.
