Core responsibilities

Provide emotional, social, academic, and/Or behaviour support.
Monitor attendance and facilitate improved attendance for students.
Help students with goal setting and career planning.
Work closely with teachers and other personnel to plan effectively for the students.
Provide links between home and school.
Work with school administration and staff to improve indigenous student academic achievement

Requirements summary

Successful completion of grade 12.
Two years community college or university program in relevant fields.
Experience working with indigenous students and their parents.
Ability to work as a team member.
Understanding of indigenous culture.
Interest in working with students' academic, social, and emotional needs
