The musculoskeletal injury prevention education facilitator develops, implements, and evaluates the safe client handling and injury prevention program for direct care provider staff. The role includes identifying risk prevention of musculoskeletal injuries and participating in the training and supervision of staff and volunteers.
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of recent experience in occupational therapy or physiotherapy and two years in adult education. A baccalaureate or clinical master’s degree in occupational therapy or physiotherapy is required, along with registration with the relevant professional bodies.
