The occupational therapist organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation and enhances patient performance. They also supervise assistants and ensure effective delivery of rehab services while adapting care plans to meet individual patient needs.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in an accredited occupational therapy curriculum and initial registration from the national board for certification in occupational therapy. A valid occupational therapy license for the state of practice is also required.
