Job description

  • <p>MEI is an independent Pre-K-12 school system with approximately 1600 students.
  • All applicants must be dedicated to Christian education.
  • Successful candidates are required to sign an MEI Staff Covenant indicating acceptance and agreement with MEI Schools' Christian values. </p><p>MEI Secondary School is seeking qualified applicants for the following teaching position with the intended start date of <strong>September 2, 2026</strong>. </p><p><strong>Secondary School<br></br></strong><strong>Mathematics/Career Life Education (1.0 FTE) – UPDATED</strong></p><p>Full-time temporary position for the first semester, with an intended start date of September 2nd, 2026, to January 28th, 2027. </p><ul><li>Mathematics 9 (two blocks) </li><li>Foundations of Math & Pre-Calculus 10 (one block) </li><li>Career Life Education 10 (one block) </li></ul>The successful applicant will possess a valid teaching certificate and relevant education and experience in math. <p>This position will remain open until filled, with the first round of interviews expected to begin on <strong>July 6th, 2026</strong>. </p><p>The annual salary for each teacher position is determined by qualifications and experience for placement on the MEI Teacher Salary Grid.
  • For the 2026-2027 school year, a full-time <strong>BC Certified Teacher salary (with a certificate of qualification from the BC Ministry of Education and Childcare and with a university degree and a professional teacher education program) </strong>ranges from<strong> $69,050 to $113,295 </strong></p><p>If you are interested in applying for this position, please submit a complete application package including your resume, transcripts, references, and a statement of faith.
