Job description

  • <p>MEI is an independent Pre-K-12 school system with approximately 1600 students.
  • All applicants must be dedicated to Christian education.
  • Successful candidates are required to sign an MEI Staff Covenant indicating acceptance and agreement with MEI Schools' Christian values. </p><p>MEI Middle School is seeking qualified applicants for the following teaching position with the intended start date of <strong>September 2, 2026</strong>. </p><p><strong>Middle School<br></br></strong><strong>Exploratories Teacher 0.17 FTE</strong></p><p><strong>Subjects: </strong></p><ul><li><strong>Character 6 - Part of a rotation of classes, focused on building character through observation as well as recognizing that one's character has an impact on others. </strong></li><li><strong>Leadership 8 - Part of a rotation of classes, exploring leadership styles, emphasizing that everyone can lead from where they are. </strong></li></ul><strong>Part-time temporary, one day per week, all on Wednesdays.
  • Start date: September 2, 2026, to June 23, 2027 </strong><p>The annual salary for each teacher position is determined by qualifications and experience for placement on the MEI Teacher Salary Grid.
  • For the 2026-2027<strong> </strong>school year, a full-time <strong>BC Certified Teacher salary (with a certificate of qualification from the BC Ministry of Education and Childcare and with a university degree and a professional teacher education program) </strong>ranges from<strong> $69,050 to $113,295. </strong></p><p>If you are interested in applying for this position, please submit a complete application package including your resume, transcripts, references, and a statement of faith.
