Market context

Temporary itinerant counsellor role in BC

In British Columbia, itinerant counsellor roles are often tied to student support needs across multiple schools, so demand can be steady where districts are expanding mental health and social-emotional services. This temporary 0.7 FTE contract is competitive because it requires BC certification eligibility plus a master’s in counselling with relevant coursework, and the role spans several support areas. Review the district’s AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your certification status and prepare examples of school-based counselling experience before applying.
