THE FACULTY OF ARTS INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR CONTACT ACADEMIC STAFF POSITIONS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY Course Name Militerisim in the Modern World Course Number HIST-3112-760 Course Dates: 09/08/2026-04/23/27 Contract Start Date August 17, 2026 Contract End Date May 14, 2027 Number of Classes 24 Class Times Online Projected Enrolment 48 Credit Hours 6 Location of Course Online Qualifications Post M.A. studies minimum ABD Remuneration $13,310 (inclusive of vacation pay based on 2019-2026 UWFA-CAS Agreement) Course Description: This lecture/seminar course offers an intensive examination of the interaction between military factors and broader social forces from the French Revolution of 1789 to the present.
