THE FACULTY OF ARTS INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR CONTACT ACADEMIC STAFF POSITIONS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY Course Name History of Indigenous Education: Residential Schools and Beyond Course Number HIST-2616-780 Course Dates: 01/08/2027-04/06/2027 Contract Start Date December 04, 2026 Contract End Date May 14, 2027 Number of Classes 12 Class Times Online - Hybrid/Synchronous Tuesdays 5:30pm - 8:30pm Projected Enrolment 48 Credit Hours 3 Location of Course online Qualifications Post M.A. studies minimum ABD Remuneration $6,655 (inclusive of vacation pay based on 2019-2026 UWFA-CAS Agreement) Course Description: This course explores the history of Indigenous education with a special focus on the history of residential schools.
