THE FACULTY OF ARTS INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR CONTACT ACADEMIC STAFF POSITIONS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY Course Name Indigenous Peoples & Canada to 1815 Course Number HIST-2610-250/290 Course Dates: 09/08/2026-12/03/2026 Contract Start Date August 17, 2026 Contract End Date January 25, 2027 Number of Classes 12 Class Times T/TH 1:00 PM - 2:15 PM Projected Enrolment 25 Credit Hours 3 Location of Course HBO-ACCESS Qualifications Post M.A. studies minimum ABD Remuneration $6,655 (inclusive of vacation pay based on 2019-2026 UWFA-CAS Agreement) Course Description: This course traces Indigenous history down to the War of 1812 era.
