The Career Counsellor assesses client skills and facilitates training to identify employment opportunities and assist with job search activities. Responsibilities include conducting workshops, developing service plans, and connecting participants with community resources.
A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Social Sciences or a related field is required, along with experience in career counseling and job placement. Professional certifications such as CCRC or RRP are considered highly advantageous.

Based in Calgary, AB the Career Counsellor will be responsible for working with clients to assess skills, organize and facilitate training, identify training and/or employment opportunities, and assist clients with their job search activities. A successful candidate will have experience developing career plans, be knowledgeable in working with vulnerable populations, be comfortable facilitating and instructing in a group-learning setting, be familiar with the Alberta labour market, and have the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
