The faculty of Health, Community and Education is comprised of four departments: Health and Physical Education, Education, Child Studies and Social Work, and Nursing and Midwifery which offer a variety of degree, diploma, and certificate programs.
The Department of Education invites applications for sessional contract instructors starting in the Fall 2026 semester. The Department of Education currently offers a four-year Bachelor of Education - Elementary degree.
Qualifications include a Master's degree in Education or equivalent, with a Ph.D. preferred. Recent teaching experience in the K–12 system, with K-6 preferred and experience with English Language Arts. Relevant undergraduate teaching and/or professional experience. The successful candidate will be required to provide the University with academic transcripts from degree-granting institutions. Employment contracts will be rescinded if the requirements are not met.
