  • Immanuel Christian Secondary School - Middle School Bible, P.E. & Options Teacher - Grade 6 to 11 FTE: 1.00 - Temporary The expected start date is August 25, 2026, and will complete on December 18, 2026, or will be based on the return of the incumbent.

  • Subjects Immanuel Christian Secondary School is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic professional educators to join their team as a Middle School Bible, Physical Education, and Options teacher.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to teach Bible-Christian Worldview classes, Physical Education, and Options courses to students from grade 6 to 11.
  • Candidates will have a passion for supporting students in learning, be enthusiastic, flexible, and an energetic team player who has the following: An ability to teach some high school supplementary courses (i.e.
  • Math 20-3, P.E.
  • 20/30) Confidence in leading and teaching middle school Bible courses An understanding of and experience in Christian Education.
  • The ability to integrate the school's Christian mission and vision within the subject materials and instruction Applicants must posses or be eligible to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate; Applicants are required to submit a philosophy of Christian Education as part of their application; Applicants must provide one reference for their current pastor.

Conditions of Employment

In order to ensure and maintain a safe and secure working and learning environment, applicants new to Lethbridge School Division who are offered employment must provide: A police information check; including Vulnerable Sector Check from Police Services or an RCMP detachment that does not have any charges or convictions. A satisfactory Intervention Record Check from South Region Alberta Child and Family Services. Proof of photo identification, may be a valid driver’s licence, provincial identification card as issued by a licensed government registry office, valid passport or Nexus card. If one cannot be provided, a new card must be obtained and proof of application provided within three days of hire. Documentation of a valid Social Insurance Number in the employee’s legal name. If valid Social Insurance documentation in the current legal name can not be provided, the successful candidate will be required to obtain a new one within three days of hire. Please note that only those selected for further consideration will be contacted regarding an interview.
