Advocate and facilitate learning opportunities that improve instruction and assessment.
Develop students' critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creative skills.
Support classroom teachers by troubleshooting minor technological hardware component problems.
Promote and foster literacy to empower lifelong learners and support evidence-based arguments.
Create and implement opportunities that foster digital citizenship.
Select, acquire, organize, and purchase print and electronic resources (including onsite and remote access).
Organize, maintain, evaluate, select, order, and provide print, digital, and non-print materials to improve student learning, engagement, aboriginal connections, and curriculum.
Ensure appropriate copyright and site licensing practices.
Provide leadership and guidance to Library Clerks and Library Substitutes as needed.
Demonstrate high communication, flexibility, and collaboration with the school community.

Requirements summary
