Position overview

We are hiring a School Age ECE (Level 1, 2, or 3) for a contract position starting ASAP and ending June 2027. You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.

• Key responsibilities
• Implement an Emergent Curriculum tailored to children’s needs
• Support emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioural development
• Maintain daily documentation and attendance records
• Ensure health, safety, and licensing compliance
• Collaborate with team members and specialists as needed

Qualifications

• ECE Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification (Nova Scotia)
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Check & Child Abuse Registry
• Current First Aid & CPR (Level B or C)
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
• Experience with school-age children is an asset
