This course examines education in comparative and international contexts. Teacher Candidates will examine how global education can be incorporated into Canadian school contexts so that students can be more effective global citizens. Teacher Candidates will consider education in international contexts in the Global South to develop a broader understanding of how education is viewed and actualized in different parts of the world.
Successful candidate will work with the course lead in order to provide consistency across sections.
Assets for a successful candidate: Doctoral degree in education or related discipline; post-secondary teaching experience in teacher education
