Part-Time Academic (NURS 2720.03: Health and Healing I (Pathophysiology and Therapeutics)) - Fall 2026 Posting Number PTAP3066P Department/Unit Nursing Location Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Job Summary & Key Responsibilities NURS2720.03 – Health and Healing I (Pathophysiology and Therapeutics) – Fall 2026 Fundamentals of health and disease patterns, the role of genetics, developmental biology and environment are explored. Cellular mechanisms, inflammatory and infectious responses and cellular biology of cancer are investigated. Diagnosis and therapeutic concepts including preventative therapies and pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions with consideration of age and cultural variations are introduced. FORMAT: Lecture/Tutorial (2 × 2h/week) – In-Person delivery on Wednesdays and Fridays. The successful candidate will be co-teaching this course with another lecturer. This appointment runs from September 1, 2026 until December 31, 2026. The part-time academic instructor reports directly to the Associate Director, Undergraduate Studies Academic.
