Salary Range

As per Academic Salary Grid Temporary Market Stipend $10,000 annually Incumbent Total Assigned days (AC) / Total Hours per biweekly pay 199 assigned days per academic year. Posting Status Open Special Instructions to Applicants Faculty in the psychiatric nursing program teach theory classes both in both on-campus and online learning environments, as well as facilitate lab/simulation learning and learning in clinical practice education settings in Regina and area. This position is based at the Regina campus requiring regular on-campus hours; some travel may be required. Participate in the development, maintenance and revision of curriculum. 4. Work closely with the Psychiatric Nursing Program Head and other project team members. 5. Participate in program, Campus, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, industry and professional or other stakeholder activities. 6. Travel may be required. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA) 1. Baccalaureate Degree in Psychiatric Nursing, Nursing, or a Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing with a degree in a related field. 2. Active registration in good standing with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRPNS) or College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS). 3. Minimum of three years recent and relevant clinical/teaching experience with a focus on mental health. 4. Excellent communication skills (oral and written). 5. Effective interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills. 6. Effective instructional ability. 7. Ability to apply the theory, practices and principles of psychiatric nursing, medical nursing, and adult education. 8. Small group facilitation skills and leading, modeling and teaching interaction skills. 9. Ability to arrange, maintain and evaluate resources. 10. Understanding of copyright process. 11. Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment. 12.
