  • As a Dispatcher, communication is essential as you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate at a post-secondary educational institute, located at Downtown Toronto (M5B 1Y2).

  • Hourly wage of $24.77 We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Full-Time Shift Schedule: Monday to Sunday: 0800-2000-0800 (Continental Rotation) (2 weeks days/2 weeks nights) Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for Dispatcher Receive incoming emergency and non-emergency calls from community and non-community members Initiate the appropriate response promptly including connecting and transferring the caller to the right person Operate with various computerized communication devices and associated equipment to receive, assess, and relay information from the public to security personnel in a courteous, professional, and expedient manner Remain calm under pressure and be able to multitask during high call volumes from telephone and radio communications Be able to prioritize and dispatch accordingly Problem-solve on the go utilizing tools and training you’ve acquired Qualifications for Disptacher Be authorized to work in Canada Must have valid Ontario Security Guard License

Must have Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification(WSIB Approved)

Must be able to commmit to Full-Time 12 hour continental rotation schedule (Monday - Sunday including days & nights)

Must be able to commute to Downtown Toronto with no onsite parking

Working Knowledge of Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act enforcement

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism

Strong documentation and report-writing abilities

Computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Suite)
