FIREFLY is seeking a temporary full-time (up to one year) Behaviour Analyst to work remotely or in any FIREFLY location. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will provide behaviour analytical services and clinical oversight of ABA Therapists. You will also be responsible for the development, monitoring, and evaluation of behaviour programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Job Functions
Develop, monitor, and evaluate behaviour programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Oversee quality assurance, including the provision of staff training, evaluation and contribution to program development Develop programming based on initial and ongoing assessments. Review and modify programming as needed Maintain documentation as per the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board guidelines and FIREFLY policies and procedures Advocate on behalf of client for service, equipment and funding Work collaboratively with community based service providers and agencies to meet identified needs and enhance delivery of care. Act as a resource for FIREFLY staff and community agencies Extensive travel required
Education/Experience/Skills/Knowledge Required
Masters Degree in Behaviour Analysis or Psychology is required Certification with the Behaviour Analysts Certification Board is preferred, certification in progress will be considered Minimum of three (3) years’ experience training and/or supervising others to provide behaviour analytics is required Demonstrated competency in delivery and oversight of behaviour assessment and treatment for children and youth with ASD Advanced knowledge of autism, developmental disabilities, and clinical assessment tools are required Ability to write clinical reports summarizing client strengths, needs, and recommendations Ability to analyze and synthesize data Ability to communicate effectively in both official languages is an asset Engagement in the leadership work of the agency is required Exceptional communication and engagement skills and experience with children and youth with developmental concerns and/or ASD and their families Superior interpersonal skills coupled with experience working as a member of a diverse and collaborative team Requires the ability to travel between service delivery sites in both urban and rural settings Ability to work creatively with clients both individually and in group settings Sensitivity to the needs of parents/caregivers and the ability to support and involve them in programming Good communication skills Valid driver’s license
