Indigenous Resource Worker

Assist students and families in understanding school success needs. Facilitate communication between parents/Guardians and schools. Provide intervention or prevention programs for at-Risk indigenous students

• Grade 12 or relevant college courses or experience working with indigenous students.
• Knowledge of local indigenous history, culture, and issues.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Understanding of educational and behavioral problems.
• Experience with children, youth, or parents/Guardians.
• Discretion and confidentiality.
• Record keeping skills.
• Valid bc driver's license
