Provide assessments and interventions for children with speech, motor speech, fluency, and voice needs while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Support and mentor Communicative Disorders Assistants and develop practical care plans in partnership with families.
Requires a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and membership with CASLPO. Candidates must have experience with children and youth, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to equity and family-centred care.

About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about working alongside children and families in a caring, respectful way to service East Algoma. This 18-month contract is to back-fill a maternity leave.
In this role, you’ll be part of creating welcoming, family-centred care through assessment, therapy, coaching, and education that supports children and families in Sault Ste. Marie and nearby communities.
You’ll work as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Infant and Child Development Consultants, and Supervised Instructor Therapists (ABA Therapists), and other amazing disciplines. Together, we collaborate to ensure holistic, coordinated, and strengths-based care for every child and family we serve.
