Sessional Instructional Assistant- LIN211H1F - American Sign Language 1 EMERGENCY POSTING

The sessional instructional assistant is responsible for grading assignments, tests, and exams, as well as invigilating assessments. They may also assist instructors with the design and implementation of course materials and provide support during tutorials.

Candidates must possess native or near-Native fluency in asl and english, with a minimum level 5 aslpi proficiency. A master's or phd is preferred, along with knowledge of deaf culture and familiarity with asl curriculums like signing naturally.
