Requirements summary

  • Grade 12 or equivalency.
  • Willing to maintain current cpi status.
  • Level 1 first aid certificate (May be required).
  • Education assistant certificate with training in developmental and sensory needs, personal care, technology, behaviour support, learning challenges.
  • Formal popard training or experience.
  • Ability to remain calm, develop positive relationships, be flexible.
  • Physical ability to keep up with active children.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize.
  • Pass a vulnerable sector criminal records search.
  • Proof of highest education level
