- Planning developmentally appropriate activities and play environments.
- Collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensuring compliance with bc child care regulations and standards.
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive childcare setting
Requirements summary
- Certificate in early childhood education from a recognized post-Secondary institution.
- Special needs certificate.
- Valid licenses in bc as an early childhood educator and infant toddler educator.
- Three to five years recent experience with children under 3 years, including children with support needs.
- Knowledge of community care and assisting living act and child care licensing legislation.
- Valid first-Aid certificate
