Core responsibilities
The incumbent is responsible for initiating, developing, and implementing administrative support functions for academic area programs, which includes planning, supporting, and liaising with various internal and external stakeholders. Specific duties involve handling program inquiries, managing documentation for students and faculty, processing financial transactions, and coordinating academic meetings and events.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have successfully completed a one-Year postsecondary certificate in a relevant field like office administration or business, along with two years of experience providing general office support. Experience with marine post-Secondary programs, power engineering, apprenticeship programs, frontline customer service, and using a student information system is preferred.
