Wildlife educators will deliver specified in-Person or virtual curriculum-Based programs using interpretive methods for various age levels, while also managing the setup, preparation, and safety of the program space. Responsibilities also include coordinating logistics with other staff, liaising with group leaders upon arrival, and reporting program execution factors to supervisors.
Candidates need a university degree or college diploma in biology, education, or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with demonstrated experience delivering nature-Related programs to youth. Essential requirements include knowledge of animal, plant, and conservation issues, commitment to sustainable practices, and working knowledge of whmis and ontario occupational health & safety act.
