Junior School Associate Teacher

The associate teacher will facilitate and provide teacher on call (Toc) coverage across various primary years programme (Pyp) subjects for grades k-5, including specialist areas, while collaborating on innovative pyp curriculum development. Key duties involve designing and delivering engaging, inquiry-Based learning activities, assessing student growth, and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Candidates must possess a valid bc certification of teaching and a bachelor of education degree, along with legal entitlement to work in canada. Desired qualifications include knowledge of ib programmes, experience teaching ib pyp grades or bc elementary courses, and skills in universal design for learning and fostering student wellbeing.
