The assistant will collaborate with the curator, archivist, and k-12 educators to create and adapt educational curricula aligned with colorado state dance standards, incorporating materials from the dance archive. This involves understanding local educational goals and ensuring the developed curriculum meets the needs of educators and their students.
Required qualifications include knowledge, experience, or training in dance education and/Or curriculum development, which may involve adapting existing materials. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with archival materials, experience teaching or creating dance-Based curriculum for k-12 students, and knowledge of graphic design programs.
