The senior investigator will conduct thorough and impartial investigations into allegations of discrimination or harassment, including gender-Based violence, involving faculty, staff, and students. This involves developing investigation plans, interviewing parties, analyzing evidence, and drafting detailed reports in compliance with federal and state laws and university policies.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree and more than five years of investigative experience with a strong understanding of non-Discrimination laws and policies. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, especially a jd, and prior experience in higher education civil rights investigations.
