The after school program counsellor will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising after-School activities, including stem-Based educational programs, sports, and community events for children aged 6 to 14. Key duties involve creating a safe and positive environment, encouraging participation, and fostering social, emotional, and academic development among participants.
Candidates must have experience and knowledge in facilitating stem-Based programming and previous experience working with children or youth in a community setting is a strong asset. Required qualifications include a current first aid/Cpr certificate, computer proficiency, sensitivity to diversity, and proven ability to take direction and work independently.
